"As flowers carry dewdrops, trembling on the edges of the petals,
and ready to fall at the first waft of the wind or brush of bird,
so the heart should carry its beaded words of thanksgiving."
~Henry Ward Beecher~
Greetings, I'm Cristy, the creator of Rose & Robin Adornments.  I was born and bred in Raleigh, NC.  A family member of mine discovered an eclectic little bead shop that had opened and was tucked like a bird's nest near downtown Raleigh.  She kept encouraging me to stop by, and thanks to her persistence, I began taking classes there.
Ever since my first beading purchase--a bag full of vintage glass buttons--I've tried to seek out whimsical and wearable beads and components to use in my creations.  In addition, I'm a collector of ephemera, and I enjoy incorporating my finds into my jewelry.
At some point along the way, I started collecting beads that reminded me of birds' eggs.  Inspired by a strand of oval turquoise beads that were the color of robins' eggs, along with a favorite vintage cosmetics advertisement, the idea for Rose & Robin Adornments was hatched.
I have a love for color and design, and I enjoy experimenting with different styles and nuances in my jewelry.  I'm attune to the details that finish a piece of jewelry, such as how to string a necklace so it has the prettiest drape possible.  I endeavor to craft jewelry that is well made so that it can adorn the wearer for many years to come.
Thank you for visiting Rose & Robin Adornments,
and remember, good things can come in small packages (and nests!).
